Vocational Training Program (State-sponsored)

Introduction
  • Vocational training programs, entirely paid for by the national government, for unemployed job seekers at age 15 or older
  • Period  One-year and short-term programs
  • Qualification  Unemployed job seekers at age 15 or older (no educational backgrounds required)
  • Benefits  The Korean government pays for the entire cost of the programs including lecture fees, practice material expenses, dormitory expenses, and food. Year-long program graduates are exempted from the required written examinations for national qualification certifications and are provided additional consultation for finding jobs and post-program training. Program participants also receive KRW 200,000 as training allowance and KRW 50,000 as transportation allowance

  • Trainees acquire basic knowledge in construction and CAD-based design techniques, as well as develop capabilities for realizing architectural beauty, including those for rebar assembly, interior design, and interior architecture

Interior Architecture Works
  • Trainees learn the basics of and practice various techniques concerning architecture in general, materials for interior architecture, and reading interior architecture drawings so that they could become skillful interior specialists

  • Trainees learn the basics and techniques of interior design materials, processing techniques, multidimensional molds, chromatics, drafts, rendering, and the like so that they could become skillful specialists capable of designing and creating practical, yet aesthetic, spaces
