Introduction
  • Vocational training programs, entirely paid for by the national government, for unemployed job seekers at age 15 or older
  • Period  One-year and short-term programs
  • Qualification  Unemployed job seekers at age 15 or older (no educational backgrounds required)
  • Benefits  The Korean government pays for the entire cost of the programs including lecture fees, practice material expenses, dormitory expenses, and food. Year-long program graduates are exempted from the required written examinations for national qualification certifications and are provided additional consultation for finding jobs and post-program training. Program participants also receive KRW 200,000 as training allowance and KRW 50,000 as transportation allowance

Water Resources Management
  • Trainees acquire basic and wide-ranging knowledge of water resources and related facilities, as well as become capable of managing and maintaining water facilities to ensure steady supplies of farming water

  • This is a course designed and commissioned by the Korea Rural Community Corporation (KRCC), which seeks to develop and hire skilled personnel for water resources management. Trainees can expect to find work at KRCC and other areas of water resources management.
