Vocational Training Program (State-sponsored)

Introduction
  • Vocational training programs, entirely paid for by the national government, for unemployed job seekers at age 15 or older
  • Period  One-year and short-term programs
  • Qualification  Unemployed job seekers at age 15 or older (no educational backgrounds required)
  • Benefits  The Korean government pays for the entire cost of the programs including lecture fees, practice material expenses, dormitory expenses, and food. Year-long program graduates are exempted from the required written examinations for national qualification certifications and are provided additional consultation for finding jobs and post-program training. Program participants also receive KRW 200,000 as training allowance and KRW 50,000 as transportation allowance

LED Applications
  • Trainees acquire the basic knowledge and skills of controlling IT devices and LED lighting apparatuses, and thereby become specialists capable of applying their knowledge and skills to various fields of electronic control technology, including LED lighting design, electronic circuit design and analysis, and microcontroller development. The objective of the program is to produce competent electronic technicians and specialists capable of working on industrial fields without retraining

LED-Applied Electronics
  • The objective of this program is to produce convergence-capable and multifunctional LED and electronics technicians who, through training with development and review of product plans for electronic application hardware, produce sample circuit designs and design verification samples, as well as test and verify products of their own design, acquire the ability to ensure the quality of LED electronic products, and design, manufacture, inspect, and maintain a wide range of display devices, lighting apparatuses, and application systems that incorporate LED modules.
