Introduction
- Vocational training programs, entirely paid for by the national government, for unemployed job seekers at age 15 or older
- Period One-year and short-term programs
- Qualification Unemployed job seekers at age 15 or older (no educational backgrounds required)
- Benefits The Korean government pays for the entire cost of the programs including lecture fees, practice material expenses, dormitory expenses, and food. Year-long program graduates are exempted from the required written examinations for national qualification certifications and are provided additional consultation for finding jobs and post-program training. Program participants also receive KRW 200,000 as training allowance and KRW 50,000 as transportation allowance
